Rubio Says Trump Would Like to Visit Uzbekistan
According to the U.S. Secretary of State, Washington intends to explore the possibility of such a visit within the year.

Marco Rubio, who heads the U.S. Department of State, stated that Donald Trump would like to visit Uzbekistan if the opportunity arises.
According to Rubio, the relationship between Washington and Tashkent is built around economic prospects and mutually beneficial cooperation. He noted the interest of American businesses in playing a more active role in the development of Uzbekistan's economy.
The statement was made on October 19 in Samarkand. Rubio arrived in Uzbekistan to participate in a meeting of the foreign ministers of the five Central Asian countries and the U.S. in the C5+1 format.
