Uzbekistan Senate Assesses Implementation of Agreements with Pakistan
Parliamentary oversight revealed delays in several areas. Meeting participants called for improved coordination among responsible parties.

Representatives of relevant ministries and agencies reported on cooperation in investments, industry, trade, agriculture, digital technologies, and other sectors. Practical aspects of interaction were highlighted by a staff member of the Embassy of Uzbekistan in Pakistan.
Participants discussed the implementation of agreements following the state visit of the President of Uzbekistan to Pakistan on February 5–6, 2026. The Cabinet of Ministers approved roadmaps for their execution.
According to participants, the effectiveness of agreements should be measured by practical outcomes rather than just reporting. Issues requiring coordination with the Pakistani side were proposed to be discussed through interparliamentary dialogue. The meeting concluded with the adoption of a relevant decision.
