Burned former Hitler tea house in the Bavarian Alps to be restored
The fire occurred on 23 October; a 33-year-old German citizen has been detained on suspicion of involvement.

Bavaria's Interior Minister Joachim Herrmann assured that the building will not be left in ruins, reports Associated Press. Authorities have not yet decided exactly how the house built for Adolf Hitler in 1938 at an altitude of 1834 metres will be restored.
The building's location complicated firefighting efforts, and strong winds and the season's first snow hindered the fire brigade. The detained individual has been sent for evaluation; police are also examining possible motives for the arson.
The Kehlsteinhaus housed a café and an exhibition on the building's history. The main historical exhibition centre was not affected by the fire.
