National Statistics Committee: Real Incomes of Uzbekistan's Population Increased by 8.1%
From January to September 2026, the real incomes of Uzbekistan's population grew by 8.1% compared to the same period last year. This means that, accounting for inflation, the overall purchasing power of the population has increased, reports the National Statistics Committee.

However, incomes are distributed unevenly. The highest indicators were recorded in Tashkent, Navoi, and Bukhara regions, while the lowest were in Karakalpakstan, Namangan, and Syrdarya regions.
The primary source of income remains labor activity, including employment and self-employment. Pensions, benefits, and remittances from abroad also play a significant role.
According to preliminary data, the average income per capita in the country over nine months amounted to 26.1 million soums.
