Uzbekistan's Airport Passenger Traffic Reaches 12.6 Million People
From January to September, Uzbekistan's airports served 12,662,922 passengers—13% more than in the same period of 2025. This was reported by the press service of Uzbekistan Airports.

During this period, the country's airports handled 102,836 flights. The growth in passenger traffic was driven by both international and domestic routes, with international transport accounting for the majority of the total volume.
Tashkent remained the largest aviation hub: the capital's airport served 8,489,320 passengers. Among regional airports, the highest passenger traffic was recorded in Samarkand, Urgench, Fergana, and Namangan. In Andijan, the figure increased 8.7 times following the restoration of airport operations, while in Namangan and Karshi, passenger traffic declined.
The cargo segment also showed growth: airports handled 84,800 tons of cargo and mail. The bulk of the volume was processed at Tashkent Airport.
