Nine killed in private plane crash in Florida
A private Learjet 60, flying from Austin to the Bahamas, crashed in Palm Beach County, Florida. All nine people on board were killed, CNN reported, citing local authorities.

The plane crashed onto a road between Cresthaven Boulevard and 10th Avenue North on Sunday. The impact created a deep crater, and debris caught fire near residential homes and businesses.
Before the crash, the pilot reported icing, an outside temperature of −47 °C, and moderate turbulence. The crew then transmitted a distress signal: the plane was descending at a rate of about 6.1 km per minute.
U.S. Transportation Secretary Sean Duffy called the incident a 'horrible tragedy.' The cause of the crash has not yet been determined. The investigation will be conducted by the U.S. Federal Aviation Administration and the National Transportation Safety Board.
