The merger between Agility Robotics and Churchill Capital Corp XI was finalized on Wednesday. The combined company plans to start trading under the ticker AGLT when the market opens on Thursday.

The deal valued Agility’s existing equity at approximately $2.5 billion. The company expects to raise around $465 million before expenses, including $100 million already received.

Financial documents reveal that the business is far from profitable: last year, Agility generated $1.8 million in revenue and reported a net loss of $138.1 million. The company also warned that it anticipates further losses and increased operating expenses in the foreseeable future.

Agility is deploying its bipedal robot Digit at facilities operated by Amazon, Toyota, and GXO. The new Digit 5 model is designed to work alongside humans without the protective barriers required by earlier versions. The company has reported orders worth over $300 million for the delivery of 1,000 robots to a single customer. Payment is to be made over a three-year period, with order fulfillment contingent on meeting deadlines and specified performance targets. Deliveries are scheduled for the first half of 2027, with general availability expected by the end of 2027.

Agility’s valuation is significantly lower than some of its private competitors: Figure AI is valued at approximately $39 billion, while Apptronik is valued at around $5.5 billion. However, Agility has already deployed Digit with customers, though the scale of these deployments remains limited.
